Some people (most notably African American women) don't condition their hair after they wash their hair with shampoo, primarily cause they don't feel like taking the time to put on the conditioner. People believe that the shampoo is what does all the work to make the hair look its best.
This is not the case. Shampoos are meant for cleansing the hair of everything that's built up inside your hair and scalp, which includes grease, oil, dirt, dandruff, etc. While shampoo washes out everything in your hair, it leaves your hair and scalp dry. Your hair then needs your natural hair oils replenished, and that's where the conditioner comes in. And some conditioners like the Pure'ity conditioner has natural ingredients like Shea Butter, which brings restoration into the hair and scalp.
Always take into account that you can't expect your hair to look its best if you don't give it the proper food it needs. And that means taking that extra effort and time to make sure you leave that conditioner in your hair for 3 to 5 minutes. After you see and feel the results, you'll be glad you did so.
